Trump's Charlottesville Press Conference Showed Us Who He Really Is: A Closer Look (Late Night with Seth Meyers)

to "Left wing politics are ok"

Despite your assumption all late night hosts are "99.99% far left wing" doesn't change the rule. And it's been around since April 2 years ago, like I though.

Just because a news station has done a piece on net neutrality or covered some breaking event does not make it an appropriate video to submit to /r/television. In addition, keep the /r/politics comments in /r/politics. However, political content covered by late night television hosts is okay, but submissions must be direct video links of the content. No articles about the content are allowed unless the article is also about the show itself. For example, a video from John Oliver's Last Week Tonight talking about government surveillance is okay. An article talking about government surveillance and what Oliver said is not okay, even if the article contains an embedded clip of Oliver. However that article would be okay if it also contained commentary about the show itself. We are not a sub for politics, but a lot of political content does air on television, which is why we only allow this one, narrow exception. Keep in mind that this sub is more for the discussion of television shows, not just anything that happens to air on television.
