Trump's Islamophobia Propels the Islamic State

I love when progressives pretend to be the stalwart defenders of the constitution.

Again with the teenage epithets. You can blow "progressive" out your ass, junior. You don't have a clue what that word even means. I have more actual conservative in one eyelash than you, Trump and all the morons in congress with an R in front of their name combined.

The constitution blah blah blah

Is freedom of religion a fundamental premise of America or not? And again you try and veer off into something about the 2nd amendment, etc. And of course, none of this fog has anything at all to do with whether Trump's rhetoric is playing into the hands of ISIS by framing the situation as US vs Islam, stirring up anti Islamic sentiment among the stupid and the spineless, alienating Muslims, making it easier for them to be radicalized, etc.

Basically, you've gone out of your way to exclusively talk about Trump's recent rhetoric as a potential ISIS recruitment tool.

No kidding, since that was the entire point of the article and the only one I am debating. And you have typed up a wall of gibberish and fallacy trying to evade that. Here you go with yet more irrelevant, fallacious empty gesturing signifying your utter lack of either ability or willingness to deal with it:

I pointed out that this was a silly approach to take because, beyond it being pure conjecture, the real source of ISIS's recruitment prowess has been the current administration.

This is the first hint of an actual argument about the point at hand from you so far. To call it "conjecture". Too bad you then immediately add your own baseless conjecture. Yes, it's conjecture -- but then you could say that the statement "the sun rises in the east" is also conjecture until dawn tomorrow. If you want to believe that Trump's anti Islamic rhetoric somehow won't alienate Muslims, then that is your belief based on conjecture. If you want to believe that Trump's anti Islamic rhetoric and policies somehow won't both alienate the aforementioned Muslims, making it easier for ISIS to radicalize them, and also stir up anti Islamic sentiment among the cowardly and dim witted, then that is your belief. I think it's fair to say that you must worship Trump as a God, what with having all of these beliefs that defy common sense.

You want to sit here and talk about a tweet because maybe (without any proof) someone might possibly have been convinced by it to join ISIS.

What "tweet" do you keep braying about? We are talking about a candidate for President of the United States who has a policy of banning immigrants based on religion, who essentially said that American Muslims are complicit in the Orlando shooting, and whose anti Islamic rhetoric on top of that is framing the situation as the USA vs Islam.

Trump's statements are, at best, a drop of water in an ocean of propaganda.

You mean his entire campaign and recent speeches heard around the planet, what with being a candidate for president are "at best, a drop of water in an ocean of propoganda"?! Good fuckin' grief. I am done. I really can't be bothered to read whatever you peck out next, so fill your boots.

Everytime you bring that up, I will continue to counter by reminding you that it is ultimately a red herring. Hillary's and Obama's foreign policy have caused ISIS to flourish. Your refusal to even discuss this makes me think you are far more worried about politics than actually solving the problem.
