Trump's Personal Attorney Rudy Giuliani: 'Black Lives Matter Is A Domestic Terrorist Organization Funded By George Soros To Overthrow Our Government'

Tldr: The buses don't go where Trump lives. What about Pence...or anyone else in the party? Don't like Biden or Democrats.

It's more that he consistently lies to a nonsensical extent about facts and events which are clearly incorrect, in an effort to make himself look good, not caring about reality, or what's actually happening. He makes up stories about everything from the weather at his inauguration, to the border wall being completed, and calling his own direct verbal, video-recorded, and written quotes 'fake news' when repeated to him in press conferences, denying that he's said it, despite there being clear evidence to the contrary.

I know he's done some good things, which a lot of people like, but his reckless approach to leading a country is dangerous, ignoring advice from experts on when it mostly revolves around boosting his ego, and often contradicts himself if his mood changes, denying any past comments.

For example, he's constantly ranting about how the mail-in voting is being rigged in favour of the Democrats, with no evidence, facts, or logic to support this this theory.

At the same time, he's literally taken multiple steps to actually rig the election for himself, trying to pull funding from the postal services, removing mailboxes and sorting machines, and telling his supporters to vote twice. Clearly electoral fraud, he openly admits he's doing it, but staggeringly, his supporters don't seem to care? https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/aug/13/donald-trump-usps-post-office-election-funding

Then, if he does lose the election in November, he will likely be the first President to refuse to accept the results if they don't land in his favour, and I can picture him needing to be physically removed kicking and screaming from the White House.

Despite the tens of thousands of deaths related to Covid-19, and privately acknowledging the seriousness of the disease months ago, while scoffing at people wearing masks, he literally praised himself over 600 times in seven weeks in regards to his response to the pandemic; which is kind of impressive in itself; shoe-horning in that many compliments to yourself in press conferences takes a dedicated effort. https://couriernewsroom.com/2020/04/27/trump-congratulations-coronavirus/

And again, some of the self-congratulatory comments are untrue or inaccurate, and he takes credit for things that are unrelated to him, or physically impossible, like the coronavirus 'disappearing', recommending treatments that he has no actual knowledge of, or a reliable vaccine being available for everyone in a matter of weeks, disagreeing with health experts, epidemiologists, scientists and academics, just because he thinks he knows better.

From the above article:

"This focus on self-promotion and taking credit is without parallel in history, according to Dr. John Murphy, a University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign professor who studies the rhetoric of American presidents and politicians.

“The level of self-congratulations that occurs every day at these press conferences is unprecedented,” Dr. Murphy told the Times.

Much as he’s done over his first three years in his office, Trump has shattered presidential norms with his response to the coronavirus. His attitude during his press briefings has been emblematic of his overall political style, which is driven by supreme self-confidence, disdain for experts, and an obsession with branding and media coverage.

“Trump’s primary goal is to spread good news and information and market the Trump brand: ‘Trump is great. The Trump brand is great. The Trump presidency is great,’” Jennifer Mercieca, a historian of American political rhetoric at Texas A&M University, told the Times. “It’s not the right time or place to do that.”

How can this sort of behaviour be considered to be anything but selfish? He doesn't wait for other people to praise him, he does it all by himself, publically, both verbally and in written form; some accurate, some fabricated.

His general approach to life seems to be almost the dictionary definition of 'truthiness'; "The quality of seeming to be true according to one's intuition, opinion, or perception without regard to logic, factual evidence, or the like."

He openly admires and praises despotic leaders like Kim Jong Un, Vladimir Putin, and Xi Jinping, because of the level of power and control they hold over their citizens, a disturbing pattern of behaviour for a world leader to want to emulate and approve of.

I feel like Mike Pence would be a better person for the job; similar policies, but he comes across as being a stable and sensible person.

To be clear, I lean towards conservative values, I don't like Biden either, or a lot of the Democrat policies, which I think some people have assumed, by my anti-Trump comments. I'm just aghast that these two people are the only options for President, and an unstable, unethical, dishonest, racist, unfaithful, narcissistic, sexually aggressive, bullying personality like Trump's isn't ideal for the top job.
