I WANT to trust care providers. So. Freaking. Bad.

I've gone through about 20 therapists until I found this one. From each one (including the absolutely awful ones) I learnt to listen to myself more and respect myself more. I've made my way up to the very best - and who knows if there's better to come.

See it's your journey. It doesn't matter if you have 100 therapists. You are the one healing yourself in the end. And each interaction teaches you more about yourself if you are willing to learn. You dont' need a therapist to show that to you. You go to therapy to improve upon what you already know, get a different perspective, learn new things. That doesn't mean you're not quite capable on your own for making decisions.

PS. some trauma phone lines in your country may be a good panacea for your day to day life. Trauma informed practitioners that you only have a single session over the phone so you dont have to worry so much about being exploited.
