Trying to salvage job update question

Yea I'm just a bit confused by the whole situation I guess.

My boss said they would support me into finding a new job throughout the last month, help with my CV etc, but since I mentioned creating the sales plan there's been no further update on the help they were going to give me.

This kinda has me in a weird area where I'm wondering if that's because they are thinking about if they want to let me try the plan or if they just forgot about the help/don't care anymore?

I figured it would be worth trying out my plan for the last month and everyone I asked agreed, but I'm not really getting a whole lot of communication from my boss so maybe you're right and I just need to plan to find something new earlier, I mean after all if they aren't interested then I shouldn't be right

Is the job market really that bad right now? My current boss badmouthed me to a potential employer, resulting in an offer being rescinded. Do I address it with my current boss?
