There's no complex reason for why players tend to an average level in NA. Its just the server is shit. NA has the smallest rank player base of all major regions and in some cases smaller than some minor regions like Viet. Then you have to add in that NA's server has to work overtime compared to all other regions due to the shear size of NA. The server is so bad that literally every time there's a tournament in NA every international pro complains about the server. Having a small player base with high ping (60ping for west coast 20 ping for east) makes practicing outside of scrims much more difficult than in any region.

NA needs to either split the server or just remove import rules. The bottom of the barrel teams have too many longstanding players that have showed little to no improvement like most of clg.
