Do tube seats ever get cleaned? The moquettes have such a massive difference in colour

I don't mean to be rude at all but you seem to think this must be easy without knowing the constraints of the job. Can't believe I'm getting in to this...

For example we had 30 trains which needed the following cleaned every night: toilets, shelving, every table, every driver cabin, every bin emptied and replaced with new bags, every window cleaned and every single floor either hoovered or swept fully and then mopped.

We had 3-5 staff on shift overnight and no washing machines. Do you still think it's possible to change that many seat covers and do everything else? It takes approximately 3 or more minutes for each seat cover as the seat has to be unscrewed from the base and then reattached. Not to mention the time it would take to put a load of washing on, and this would constitute many, many loads of washing. You can't just 'hop' off a train to put a load of washing on lol. They live on a depot overnight.

I didn't make the rules anyway, the train cleaning department doesn't exactly have a large budget!

They're recruiting for cleaning staff so perhaps you'd like to apply? Minimum wage though.
