Is Tucker Carlson a Russian Asset?

Too many people don't seem to grasp that Commentator does not equal Journalist, particularly in Tucker Carlson's case.

He is quite literally employed to regurgitate a narrative.

Fox's gaggle of lawyers have argued in Court that he isn't stating facts; it's non-literal commentary and exaggeration. Further, there's quite a few interesting things that Tucker Carlson has said that seems to have blown past the majority of Americans (even if they were said in jest).

Things like:

"I’ll go out and beat some servants, I’ll wrap my Lamborghini around a tree, go pick up a kilo or two, you know, just like normal stuff." - when asked in 2008 about his wealth.

When asked about his Trust Funds he stated: "I’ve never needed to work, yeah. I mean it’s all just — the whole cable news thing… it was just like a phase I was going through."

In a conversation that revolved around Rupert Murdoch (Chairman of Fox Corporation) he stated: "I’m 100 percent Murdoch’s bitch. Whatever Mr. Murdoch says, I do. I would be honored if he would cane me the way I cane my workers, my servants.”

Look. I won't knock Tucker's Father for granting his children a better upbringing than he had. That's what any decent parent strives to do. What I can't stand is Trust Fund Millionaires, who are peddling wares for Billionaires through whichever medium garners the most views, getting up and acting as the voice of the average American.

"But he shares my point of view!" his loyal viewers may say. "But he makes some good points!" his loyal viewers may retort.

That's the point. It's profitable to do so. He saw a niche that needed filled, end of story.

Show me a political commentator - on either side of the political aisle - and I'll show you an overpaid shill in a suit.

It's especially strange to me that most Americans can agree that "Big Business" needs to distance itself from Politics.... Until that "Big Business" aligns with their favorite puppet's narrative, and whose donations fill the coffers being dragged along the campaign trail.

If you've picked a side, you're probably wrong. If you're one of those "I'd die before voting for [Insert Political Party Here]" kinds of people, you're probably wrong. If you're taking what the man/woman on the TV is saying as irrefutable fact, you're probably wrong.

This is the Great American Political Pantomime after all. Panem et circenses...
