Tuition scam takes up to $1 million from UW students

No, they cheat. Like rampant, ongoing, by Western Standards cheat.

Source: Numerous examples of it. Kids with almost no English speaking ability none the less pull 4.0's in English classes; kids with no interest in group projects none the less pass classes when they hand around former years' assignments found online and modded slightly or used almost verbatim.

The Chinese student attitude: "I am honoring the work of those prior to me by respecting their work and using it, because I can see it is better than my own work."

In the West, where we are right now, this is cheating.

Ask any UW student from the States, this topic is ongoing unending and constant.

And then, after the perfect 4.0 Chinese student graduates, they take their degree and go back to China, to perpetuate the family oligarchy's role.

It's a ridiculous scenario. Laws written in the USA to "help disadvantaged minorities" get turned around to screw Washington State kids -- who compete under our rules, using our standards of grading -- then find they lose out.

And UW loves it, because Chinese students pay out of state tuitition.

The whole system right now is a corrupt and ridiculous mess. I know there's legitimate students from all countries. But in no way is that the only driving factor in rampant grade inflation and the regular event of Chinese 4.0's none the less having almost no ability to speak out loud or formulate independent ideas or participate in group work.
