Turkey deports Syrian transgender woman to Idlib, the woman is then taken by HTS.

As an LGBT person she was also at risk in Istanbul, it's still a challenge to open up in Turkey while Erdogan is in power. Not that Turks are killing trans-genders day and night, they used to do it, as a result our LGBT community in Turkey grew really strong. It's a struggle in every nation, it gets worse when you get closer to Bethlehem. So it doesn't really matter if you are fleeing a war or not. Russian and Turkish trans-genders are also applying for asylum in EU.

As far as I know, the Turkish government doesn't have a special programme for the LGBT refugees. We are only providing safety for people who flee the Syrian war, it's not like you're getting special treatment for being LGBT, not in good nor in bad way. You're totally ignored if you're gay in Turkey.

We want to improve that and could have tried to at least raise awareness if the Guardian had helped us by providing the full information they have on this case.

By the way, this happened before..

Fifteen LGBT Syrian refugees are launching a legal challenge on Monday against the Home Office claiming they have been abandoned to a life of danger in Turkey, despite promises to bring them speedily to safety in the UK.

They didn't even take 15 LGBT (fifteen out of tens of thousands) but they are still running a story on how Turkey is not the safest haven for LGBT. We know that. So do your fucking part and take some thousands of them and be proud. Why not?

Oh they accepted 4 (four) of them in finally.

Four newly arrived LGBT Syrian refugees will be able to openly express their sexual identity when they join the Pride celebrations in central London on Saturday.

Good good. They must be really proud.
