Let me get this straight:Putin’s government is stripping lgbt people of our rights on a constitutional level, pushing an aggressive anti lgbt rights media campaign, purging all opposition and entrenching his regime, effectively criminalised any LGBT rights campaigning, and yet all you have to say about the situation Russia is what a random opposition leader said 15 years ago?

As a trans Russian, shame on you tbh. I don’t really like Navalny but his stance on lgbt is much better than Putin, not that his own views matter as much as that of his supporters, who are mostly young liberal progressives, anyone who lives in russia knows this. not that he’s likely to get into power in the near future anyway.

The fact you make no mention of the real horrible thing Putin is doing to lgbt is really weird. You clearly don’t know shit about the lgbt situation in Russia.
