Turkish Foreign Minister says if planned Syria safe zone is not established an operation will be launched in East of Euphrates. U.S. envoy on Syria is in Turkey for talks today. Turkey’s Foreign Min. says he hopes an agreement on safe zones can be reached after talks

We call that an insurgency.

So do we, You get my point. The ypg/pkk is doing to Turkey in Afrin and ES areas, exactly the same attacks that isis is doing to ypg/pkk and SDF in sdf areas. Ypg/pkk is literally throwing stones in a glass house. You would support a car bomb in a market full of civilians as long as its ypg that detonates it and not isis correct? Man the hypocrisy online is despicable.

None of them are being quashed violently.

Not that we hear of recently no, and i hope that is true and stays that way, but it has happened.

Let me make it clear I am not saying fsa zones are safer than ypg zones. They aren't. Civvies don't deserve voilence and are safer in ypg areas. But remember that the culprit of the most voilent actions with the highest capacity to maim and kill in Afrin is an active insurgency by ypg and its cells. Which are also directly tying up resources so the criminal activity by some Elements within local forces cannot be addressed properly.

Imagine if the Turkish military actively announced it would begin supporting a full blown insurgency campaign in ypg Areas. Do you think they would be as peaceful, course not.

We all know the ypg can never remove the Turkish Military from Afrin by force, if they want safety for Civilians, they need to promote stability so Turkish troops in Afrin can target resources to tackling common crime.

WoO isn't a YPG cell.

Yeah and fsa isn't a Turkish proxy.

Yet they operate exclusively and completely freely out of ypg areas, consistently target areas next ypg controlled zones, and immediately appeared after ypg announced its insurgency campaign. You, me and everyone else knows deep down they operate under the ypg Umbrella like it or not. I don't see ypg out trying to arrest them or denouncing them. When you make a statement like that out of pure denial because it doesn't suit your bias, you discredit everything else you write.

Lol no, that's not why Shuhuda was disbanded.

Shuhudawasnt disbanded, you are wrong from the start. It announced that it would, then failed to do so. And was violently eliminated by Turkish forces directly, due to its highly abusive nature that was destabilising turkeys efforts to. Make Afrin look peaceful. Now that ypg announced an insurgency campaign. That is the focus of security resources. Not common crime. Educate yourself.

No resources to punish human rights abuses of their proxies from the "second largest NATO army"?

So let me get this straight, you think turkeys entire military is in Afrin. And you think turkeys only area of operations is Afrin. And you think turkeys entire defence budget is allocated to afrin. Another case of a civvie with no real field based military knowledge thinking their opinion is valuable....
