Do you seriously believe that if America didn't come to the ME it would be a peaceful region? It was NEVER EVER peaceful.

By the time the US came to the middle east it was already a pretty interesting place. But throughout various campaigns, the US (and it should strongly be noted; Israel) have drastically hindered various nations and peoples within the middle east from progressing.
