I turn way too serious when i quit games but when i play i become this fun humorous guy

I can relate and perhaps the following can be some help to you:

'In life we go from plaything to plaything as we grow and mature'

Play is a fundamental need that we must have.

The question is how can we go from Play to play without losing our connection to the world?

Also what is considered healthy play vs what is considered non healthy play?

So what seems to be happening to you (and myself) is that when we are not Gaming we neglect the Play need and find no replacement in the real world.

Our responsibility is to find a true form of play in the real world and then mature from one healthy play type to the next level of healthy play type. . . .

But this requires work and self work and the easy way out is to just grab the easiest access to Play that we can see. But to find a proper Play platform type that is indeed enriching etc. takes digging and searching oneself.
