Just think of it like this. What ever issues you have before marriage, it will be exasperated more with marriage….especially over time. I married my best friend and we’ve been together 23 years (married 12), but damn, I just want to be friends and seek a relationship (romantic one) elsewhere.

Before you get married, have the discussion of worse case scenarios…like if we need sex, and one person can’t/ won’t, what are you okay with? emotional affair but no physical affair, open marriage, poly relationship, etc. talk about it.

Get on the same page and then decide. Kids, marriage, assets, the more shit you accumulate together the harder it is to break the marriage.
