My mom and her boyfriend went on vacation down to the states for a week or so, they came back all happy but somehow in one of the hotels they brought back bedbugs in their suitcases, so after a few nights they had real bad problems sleeping because they kept getting bit, so at first they tried cleaning all their sheets, still had them, so they cleared out everything in the room, cleaned it all (with loads of heat) and got a specialized vacuum to deep clean the carpets in the house... they still had them and it spread to another room, so we called an exterminator, there was still some left but the exterminator said he had to do it twice to get the full effect.

He ended up killing them all.
