Turo Car Rental Horrible Insurance Claim Handling

I thought the whole appeal of Turo was you could get rare or exotic cars from it? Why would you ever use it if you're just wanting to rent a cheap car for errands? Zipcar is a fucking ripoff for that too. I can rent an SUV or full size from Alamo/Enterprise/etc for about $50 a day plus gas. Zipcar here is 14/hour plus the monthly fee. Unless you're literally just running to the store for an hour Zipcar is a massive scam.

Also, Zipcar's support is outsourced Indian trash. I got locked out of my zipcar once because the card reader didn't work. It took 2 hours for the guy on the phone to finally remotely unlock the fucking thing.

The gas card also never works at stations around here and they take forever to reimburse me for gas. I also had 3 reservations moved to further locations without my consent in 2 months with less than 24 hours notice. The location I reserved at is across the street from my apartment and in all 3 instances I left to get the car and saw the one I reserved sitting in its spot at my reservation start time. Zip car is horrible.
