Well I'm sorry everyone got so offended with my warning.
Let's do a quality check on games from the 90's and then on steam itself shall we.
First off games back in the 90's were about 10-50 dollars and they were fully finished and bug tested before they left the place they got made in (at least the games I remember playing). I used to play on cosoles PSX/PS2/PS3 NES/SNES/N64/GameCube/Wii/Wii U XBox/Xbox360. Most games on cosoles varied in price from about 9 to 40 dollars. I got most games used and at the time the price was cheaper and was delighted to be able to save some of my hard earned money in order to get it cheaper. That meant I still had some money to buy another game or keep a hold of it until a later time.
Games on steam cost about as much if not more than that. Take Skyrim for instance at the time I bought it I saved a about 35 dollars from the steam sale on it because I like trying to get a cheaper price on it. I still like it to this day and I am glad I spent the money Id id in order to get and play it for well over 1000 hours.Most games now cost what about $59.99 or $60. However, even though Skyrim wasn't completed I still loved to play it with all the mods the mod authors graciously allowed us to play around with in our game.
This can go for any game really. I'm just trying to give examples. If you feel the need to attack me by calling me rude or entitled you may want to think more carefully about what you say. I pride myself on using my brain moreso than my wallet and now I look at reviews to make sure I will like the game or not, which to be honest there aren't many games I like to play anymore and find myself going back to the games such as Minecraft or Skyrim or going on Kong to play some incremental games. Now games aren't fully finished and aren't really play tested like they are supposed to. I feel bad for those of you who haven't ever played games back in the 90's or were born later on.
I personally don't see the need for anyone to attack me over this post just because I tried warning people. Like I said in the above post I wasn't here to debate anything I just wanted to warn people. Now can this post be closed please?
