I have well over 14000 cards that haven't really seen much of the outside world and I've never really been sure what to do with them, but after some reflection I've decided I want to make a cube for drafting.

There are a few problems with this, however, so I'm hoping I could get some advice on how to proceed.

  1. I haven't looked at my cards in ages and honestly never really knew all that I had in the first place, so I have literally no idea what I even own.

  2. I'm very inexperienced at drafting and have literally zero clue where to start for building a cube
All I think I know is that I'm pretty sure I want it to be a pauper cube because, as you might imagine, a pretty hefty chunk of my collection is commons
To be clear, I'm serious when I say literally zero clue. I honestly don't know a single thing about what goes into doing this.

  3. I'm curious what a good player count is for cube drafting. I figure I can pretty easily collect two other people, but getting more than that might be an issue (would be do-able, but not easy) due to over half the group I used to play with living in different states nowadays. What's a good player count for this kind of thing? Wondering if it would even be worth it if I'd only be able to get a group of three together most of the time.

I haven't actually played MtG since high school (which would have been ~6 years ago) so a lot of knowledge I previously had is kinda hazy at best, so I'm hoping there's a non-overwhelming way to get into doing something like this. A friend brought the upcoming MtG Arena to my attention, and with that and Spellslingers Season 4 coming out recently, my interest in MtG has been coming back.
