A tv show where CEOs live on their companies lowest paying salaries for a month.

Literally nobody thinks that. It’s the dumbest and most asinine argument ever.

Let’s talk about it: Jeff Bezos is worth over $100 Billion. Obviously that’s not actual cash. Amazon started in 1994. Let’s say for 4 years, Jeff was building amazon. Let’s say that for 4 years, Jeff made nothing. In fact he was in debt.

Over the course of the dot com era, companies either succeeded, or died. That’s it. Amazon succeeded. Bezos being a savvy man, obviously had a diverse portfolio. As any good businessman, but it took years to achieve what he has now right? Of course it did. You don’t wake up a billionaire overnight.

For someone who say “worked HARD for decades” he should remember where he came from. Remember those nights you spent lying awake how you were going to get gas to get to work? Probably not. Remember when you had to decide between the electric bill or the water bill? Probably not. Remember seeing your managers go out to eat everyday while you’re eat dried bread and water? Probably not.

Not everyone is blessed the way you might be, or how others might be. There’s a great portion of us who have skills, abilities, and educations suitable for careers that could and SHOULD be paying more.

Now that I’ve been nice and explained how pointless your argument is, take it and blow it out your ass. CEOs are appointed by a board of directors who provide the biggest circle jerk suck fest of the Fortune 500.
