[TV SPOILER] Questions about technology, story and "biology".

  1. Never canonically confirmed. It has the ability to calcify though, we also know the dome is permeable
  2. The domes functions are never explained. But you have to remember the "TV screens" we're a result of Christines' powers. 3.Joe says he's lived in Chesters Mill his whole life and the only thing under the school was the basements, so it's likely the aliens created the cave under the school. They may have always been there and the aliens decided it would be a good place to store the amethysts 4.Not sure what you're asking. But the caves were massive, we see Joe and Norrie working in a different section than where the explosives were placed, so it's logical that the caves are vast.
  3. I'm sure they didn't make it a point to actually show all 7 , implied that there were at least 7 6.I think we're meant to assume the aliens put them there, possibly a long time ago? 7.Try not to think into it more than the creators and sum it up to alien technology 8.It seemed like the Egg was the power source of Christines pod. And Christines pod powered the other pods. The amethysts power the dome, hence why when they are destroyed and not around, the dome has begun to calcify 9.Given what Christine implies to Joe about not choosing to be on earth, and that this same enemy will be upon earth soon. I took it to mean that there is some greater enemy the kinship-aliens fear and that's the reason for the occupation of earth.
  4. We don't know for sure. But i would theorize that the staticky aliens are some of energy life form. 11.Given what we've seen from the other humans who are occupied by the aliens, the inside person is shut out. And it is the Alien speaking.
  5. I was never sure that Melanie was a queen 13.Christine Price was an Aktion worker , who was the first one to touch this particular egg. She is human. The alien posing as her in the virtual reality is an Alien, thus it is not Christine Price. 14.Or delicious pudding ¯_(ツ)_/¯
