Yeah I hear you, I think in some contexts “AFAB” is just a PC way to say “female-bodied”. Which is just false, because anyone post op is not female bodied anymore. It also just makes some people uncomfortable to be refered to that way, especialy if it’s coming from cis people. There’s nothing wrong with feeling uncomfortable about that term at all. I think the thing everyone has to realize is that we’re an extremely diverse group, and so many things affect the way we use words and describe our own experiences. Geography, age, language barriers, etc. I, a 26 year old binary guy in the US and speaking english, can’t expect someone who’s 19, nonbinary. and living in Brazil with english as a second language to talk about things the exact same way I do.
