Not at all. My point is not that "Muslims are actually ruining the country" but that there's a whole slew of issues that stem from immigration which need to be addressed, and the Muslim community is highly represented within those issues. Poor education caused by dropping out of school, harrassment, abuse, drug traficking, there's tons of misdemeanors that are perpetrated by migrants because they live in a state of poverty, and Muslims are largely represented among those migrants. To a layman the issues just get conflated together and admittedly create a rising sentiment of racism in the French population.
