This statement and the amendment collide in my eyes. At it's essence the consideration is whether 'simp' could be seen as a trigger word and potentially offend a third party. This would imply it would be similar but albeit less offensive as the n-word. But since the line is not drawn it would just be a landmine. Since no one would still not be able to use it because the intent does not matter (as per quote).
