I think there is a huge difference between nu-wave feminism and baby boom era feminists.

Nu wave feminists seem to actively look for reasons to be insulted but older feminists, like my mum, actually did get treated like shit just because they were women. She had a therapist tell her it's her fault her (ex)husband was beating her black and blue. That's so fucked up. Most nu wave feminists have not experienced anything close to that kind of victim blaming and yet they are way more unreasonable about the issues.

My problem is they want a matriarchy, not equality. It's so selfish. And it diminishes the efforts of women who worked so hard in the past to be recognised as equals. Then you've got older feminists who seemed to just want to have their autonomy and independence from men, and not be the scapegoat for societies problems anymore.
