You seem to have moderated your tone a bit from someone who was laughing at a teenager who had to kill people to preserve his own life a minute ago.

I didn't laugh at anyone, I'm not the same guy who wrote the first comment.

I did twenty years in the Army. I fought in Iraq and Afghanistan. On the civilian side I have worked as a gun instructor. I taught gun safety and escalation of force. I am telling you if I had been in Kyle's situation I couldn't have asked for a better result. He showed an amazing level of discipline.

In the first shooting if he had reacted a millisecond later or fired a warning shot he would have been on the ground. Fighting for control of his weapon. A battle, given his adversary, he would almost certainly have lost.

In the second incident he is hit in the back of the head, falls to the ground, someone tries to stomp on his head, he is his hit with a skateboard, and a guy approaches him with a firearm all in the course of 6 seconds. You can count him shooting at the guy who tries to stomp on his head as warning shots. Does it it stop the guy with skateboard? Does it stop the guy with the gun?

Would it have not been better to face the attacker and slowly walk backwards as apose to just flat out running back to them.

This whole "militia" thing is a joke. There were no "militias" at Kenosha. This was the second day of the riots. Cops did nothing to stop rioters from burning down peoples livelihoods on day one. So on day two people not militias defended their town.

His lawyers from what I've read don't seem to think it was a joke.

Had he not been there no one would have died.
