Twitter Suspends Account of Chinese Virologist Who Claimed Coronavirus Was Made in a Lab

Are you an epidemiologist? Do you have expert knowledge of viruses? Or are you basing your laymen opinion on what someone said in a Joe Rogan podcast? If not, then how would you determine what a "reasonable perspective" is?

It is exceedingly easy to go on a podcast and say things that sound right to lay people. That is how anti-vaxxers, flat Earthers, climate change deniers, creationists, anti-evolutionists, etc. are created. Just because it "makes sense" to you, a non-expert, doesn't mean it holds any weight in the scientific community. And the scientific community has stated time and again that the virus has all the markings of a naturally occurring virus.
