How can they convince themselves this will ever work? That more than a small percentage of people would support them? I’m a half Native Amercian, and I do get the context behind a defensive nature, but it’s out of control sometimes. There is racism out there, and it’s clear to us all, but to believe EVERY person of a different race (not just White people) is oppressing you, or discriminating, or judging, does so much more damage than good.

I’ve literally been told that I, also a racial minority, am a racist for trying to bring attention to a minority group that was not Black. I was told this is “their time” and I “have no right to tak about” my own race, and I’m “silencing Black voices” by saying that Hey maybe we could give us other minorities a nod. Maybe throw us a bone.

It’s toxic, and it’s hateful. But what can we do? Be called racists for telling them to chill out a bit?
