Two autopsies both find George Floyd died by homicide, but differ on some key details(This is a reminder to those who insist on saying Floyd died from a drug overdose)

Which damages? Many of his damages were due to his resistance, and he would maybe even be alive if he hadn’t resisted - and of course had he not been taking a lethal dosage of Fentanyl.

They found no life-threatening injuries.

And importantly, brain damage.

As a PhD student in Cognitive Neuroscience, I find it noteworthy that the pathologist found no ischemic-hypoxic tissue damage, i.e. resulting from insufficient oxygen supply as a result of a lack of blood supply, in different areas in the brain - including the hippocampi, which due to its high energy demand is known to be the most sensitive area to inadequate oxygen supply. You would not expect to find that if he died as a result of asphyxiation due to neck compression.

However, he had hypertensive, was on meth, was above (11 ng/ml) the median lethal dose of fentanyl which is just below 10 ng/ml, said several times that he couldn’t breath before he was on the ground, in fact asked to be laid on the ground. You can also hear the words ‘you are going to get a heart attack, get in the car’ - and heart attack was exactly what the pathologist concluded.

But I agree that the police officers do not have the best chance, so many emotions and people who made up their mind a long time ago.
