It’s good that you listened to your gut.

A few years ago I was followed. A car coming towards me flashed high beams at me and did a u-turn once they passed me. They followed me slowly until the street met up with another on an angle. There was another car there idling…they stopped side by side and then separated. The one continued to follow me but the other took the other street. I went through an intersection with a stop sign and did a quick u-turn and faced them. We just sat for what seemed like forever. I kept second guessing myself but when they didn’t continue or turn and we both sat facing off in a way, I knew I was right.

I also noticed the other car approach and pull into a nearby parking lot continuing to idle.

I pulled through the intersection and drove passed them and then did another quick turn so I would be behind them and they took off.

The police were notified but I don’t think they really looked into the vehicle descriptions or anything.

I’m glad you were aware of your surroundings and knew something was off. We all need to listen to that internal voice.
