You'd think he would have learned the first time around. She was obviously not in his class if she was 16 at the most. That's a pattern.
There are no assumptions here. Dude has a problem with underage girls. Fact. This isn't as simple as sending a nude picture, not even close so that's a strawman argument I'm not going to spend time on.
As for the second dude, let's NOT throw my daughter into the system, thank you. But if she was and she didn't do it, I would hire the best lawyer I could to prove it rather than pleading out. There were two girls, not one. That's a pattern. That ISN'T how it is right now if you didn't do anything wrong. That's copping to a lesser plea of aggravated sexual battery, which still isn't a deal. Hell, he may have had a good lawyer and that's the best he could get. I can't believe I've had to argue that there is something seriously wrong here with these two, ahem, gentlemen, when there is prior history and obviously enough to warrant a conviction and plea deal. This wasn't simply nude pictures.
The fact that the first guy did it twice is enough for me to see a pattern and she was obviously much younger than a year. Copping a plea deal for two counts of a Class D felony is enough information for me to make a judgement on the second guy.
I'm not sure what more information you need. I'm not even sure why people are defending these sexual offenders. And there were two of them at the same school that NOBODY knew about. I guess that's what gets to me the most.
I understand the American justice system of innocent until proven guilty very well, but they've both been either proven guilty or copped a lesser plea deal to two counts of which are still a felony. That's a problem.
Sure, kids have sex underage. I was a teenager too. But LHS has a problem on their hands and they also should have notified the parents in some official way rather than hoping, or not hoping, they get a copy of the student newspaper. They call all the time about stupid crap, they could have called about this seriousness.
