Why The “Two Historically Unpopular Candidates” Meme Is A Sham — One That Boosts Donald Trump

As a lifelong Democrat, I dislike Hillary primarily because her record does not qualify her for the nation's highest office. In the 1990s, she attempted to enact a health care law that even Democrats panned as ill-conceived. In the 2000s, she failed to stand up to the war hawks and voted in favor of the disastrous Iraq War. In 2007, her campaign staff trafficked in racial and religious fear-mongering against Barack Obama. As Secretary of State, she failed to learn from her disastrous Iraq vote and advocated for intervening in Libya. So much so that it was being touted at the time as "Hillary's War" until the country collapsed into chaos. Once the primaries began, she passed the buck to President Obama and diminished her role in the decision. Finally, during the primaries, she repeatedly disseminated and told half-truths to the American people about her private e-mail server. Even if you believe the situation was blown out of proportion, there's no credible argument that she was forthcoming and honest about the situation. In sum, I dislike Hillary Clinton not because of what the GOP has done, but what Hillary has done. And no amount of paid internet shilling by David Brock's minions is going to convince me otherwise.
