Two really good threads on the issues facing DRK/WAR (Long but thoughtful)

The problem I have with this argument (if that's even what you mean it to be) boils down to the fact it argues for a state of acceptability (or balance) based off the top percentile of the playerbase. The flaw in this is based on the fact that it ignores how they get to that point, let alone the serious skill gaps that can exist between the top players and the median.

In which case, WAR in particular is in a funky spot. Its ceiling is indeed quite high, but its floor is also very low. It is not a forgiving tank to play right now due to the way stance dancing works. Its skill curve is much higher than Paladin, and that's awkward since it brings much less variety than Paladin. This is not an insult to the state of the Sword & Board, it's an observation that WAR must work harder than a Paladin to match its damage. Dark Knight's damage is very forgiving due to the reworked Darkside & emphasis on Souleater (-10 less natural potency compared to Power Slash, the enmity rotation. HOWEVER, it is miles higher when Dark Arts is applied). The only question I have for DRK boils down to "should its SB skills be OGCD?"
