I don't think we care as much about future children, for woman, it's a much bigger issue.

Ouch. I'm not sure where you're getting this info from, or perhaps it's a cultural standpoint and relevant to your area, but it's a bit old fashioned to think that and insulting to many women. It's more of a human question not limited to gender--some people want kids some don't, but don't assume all women want or expect children.

That said, someone should accept you for who you are--full stop. If someone does not accept you then they're not the right person. Hope things get better for you and find a social circle where you can meet someone who isn't judgemental of you having type 1.
