The "Typical Trans" person (FTM) (Rant)

“Typical” isn’t really as common as it seems. Many people have historically had to pretend to have known from a young age / or have had to pretend their dysphoria is worse than it is to be taken seriously. While some people do have super strong feelings, that isn’t everyone.

“Man” and “Woman” are boxes that society puts people into, and while one might feel a lot more comfortable than the other not everyone needs to perfectly fit into them. I spent 32 years being seen as one, and did the best I could at it but it always felt Ike a chore. Being seen as the other is a lot less performative for me. I know I’m not cis because HRT made me feel a lot better in various ways, but I very happily played with TMNT and Lego over dresses as a kid.
