Tysons Corner Center exec overseeing Union Station revitaliation - Washington Business Journal

“The former overseer for Greater Washington’s largest shopping mall has been tapped to help breathe new life into Union Station, the Northeast D.C. rail station that saw a steep increase in retail vacancy over the past few years due in large part to fallout from the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.

Matt Barry, formerly assistant vice president of property management for Tysons Corner Center, started Nov. 28 as Union Station’s new general manager. He is focused on a multipronged revitalization plan that includes enhanced leasing and marketing efforts, security upgrades and other common-area improvements. He's got his work cut out for him.”
