U.N. says Saudi-led bombing of Yemen market may be international crime

How is Israel better? Do you even have a reason or are you just throwing your opinion out there as fact? If you're doing that, be sure to let people know. My brother does it all the time and it's confusing.

Jordan is much more westernized than you might think. They have a secular system of laws (not Sharia law) and things like freedom of religion, freedom of press, etc. They haven't been the aggressor in a single conflict in recent history.

Israel on the other hand has proved itself radical and dangerous in their actions towards Palestine. Hamas isn't any better, but Israel is a nation not an insurgency. They should be taking the moral high ground and leading by example. Instead they get down in the dirt with Hamas and bomb hospitals and schools because they were "hiding terrorists". Let me ask you, who is worse, the guy hiding behind a child or the one who shoots them both anyway? It's not even Hamas or "the terrorists" that suffer. It's not Israel, the US sends them billions of dollars in aid and weaponry every year. Instead it's the Palestinian people. The average mother, father, sister, brother living their day to day life in what amounts to practically a prison camp.

I know it's a complex situation, but a nation as powerful and well connected as Israel should not be carrying out a prolonged conflict / occupation with Palestine. It's akin to an adult fighting a young child. Sure, there's a one in a million chance that child could actually hurt you slightly but that doesn't give you license to retaliate in full force. In a situation like that, I think it's up to the the more powerful entity to take the moral high ground and actually try to resolve the conflict instead of escalating it.
