U.S. adds Turkey to list of countries implicated in use of child soldiers

I’m not American. But the fact you’re comparing the US army to Turkish children being enslaved and forced to fight/make munitions just shows you’re a bit of a slow cunt.

US army: sure they use immoral tactics and offer benefits (free college/healthcare) to make the army sound more appealing, but at the end of the day you’re 100% free to… not join

Turkey: you are forced to join the army, parents have no choice but to let you go, you will die before your 20th birthday (if you’re lucky) and you have 0 choice in the matter

I know Americans are a little bit brainwashed on this shit, but you’ve just compared the most powerful army in the world where soldiers have a <1% chance of dying to being forced to hold a gun and kill when you’re 10 years old.
