U.S. Army Soldier walked into Mall in Fayetteville NC with IBA and Assault Rifle with intent of getting his picture taken by Photo Studio.

I would be very curious to see you quote the part of NC penal code that back up these claims. The reason I would be so curious is because frankly, I know for a fact that you will not find them.

The mall may very well be private PROPERTY, but it is still a "public PLACE" as defined by the law.

Also your claim that someone can be arrested for walking around your house with a gun in an open carry state is way off as well. If someone is in your house uninvited, they can be arrested for many different crimes, but if they are authorized to open carry, the offense would not be something to what you are alluding to. Sure, if they are committing a crime, the charge can be enhanced because of the presence of a weapon, but your tone makes it seem as if someone can be arrested on private property because they made someone feel uncomfortable while legally exercising their right to open carry. And frankly, that is not the case.

I'd suggest you do a bit of research on the laws that you pretend to be familiar with because your comments make you sound ignorant, which appears to be accurate. So far you have yet to get a single thing right about the legal aspects of this. And for the record, the offense he was arrested for is the equivalent of a "disorderly conduct" offense. He incited panic. It honestly had very little to do with the gun (that he was legally carrying) and more to do with the fact that his actions caused the public to be in fear for their lives.

To be clear though, I do think he went about this the wrong way. That's not my concern with this post though. My concern with this post is that you're an idiot who has no idea what they're talking about.
