U.S. to ban travel to North Korea from September 1, says Americans should leave

When I worked at a funeral home, I saw people that had been killed for doing stupid stuff. People that died simply by being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Like two teenagers that went into the cut and were assassinated in their vehicle at point blank range. Or a little girl who was raped to death by her gang member cousins. We had to send her back to Mexico where she was from, she was just here on vacation.

People would ask me if I was afraid of the dead people and my response was always the same;

"Dead people aren't scary. They can't kill you, they don't stalk you, the won't rape you, they aren't going to take your kids away forever. They just lay there and don't give any more fucks. Living people are scary, they are the ones that can ruin your life. I see what the living can do, and humans are awful to each other."

Having a healthy fear of the world has kept me alive so don't be sorry and don't look down on me for protecting myself, even if it means I miss out on stuff. My FOMO isn't as bad as my fear of getting raped, dismantled, and thrown in a ditch like a piece of garbage.
