U.S. Dairy and Coca Cola Under Fire for Major Animal Abuse Scandal

I think you're going to be surprised at how much milk goes into cooking and relies on the chemical reactiions with the milk fat to make things like sauces, rouxs, et cetera. You're not just suggesting we remove milk from luxuries like ice cream and milkshakes but you're telling us that we don't need to have butter, an essential ingredient in most baking.

You yourself admitted cheese is a difficult one, there will always be a culinary need for cheese.

It will hopefully help with our disconnect and denial with our food and where it comes from.

You're throwing a lot of emotional arguments here without backing up facts of your own, so many people are already telling you that your anecdotes are incorrect or shaky at best.

I get it, milk harvesting is cruel, I believe if we could do it without cruelty we should even if it cost more or had other complications.

My point here is only to tell you that this statement: "We don't need to have milk" is extremely naive. A huge portion of our culinary industries rely on milk or milk products for their chemical makeup rather than their flavor.
