U.S. House passes bill expressing support for NATO

Oh, I'm not talking about patrolling the actual sea routes--just the notion that the West wants the world's resources to come to them and that the military serves as a means to that end. NATO has a presence in Afghanistan to access their minerals, NATO-affiliated countries (including Israel, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, who have close military ties to the US and UK by the fact that they buy their military equipment) shat all over Syria for the pipeline, etc. I'm not saying that the protection of access to resources is the single-minded purpose behind the activities of groups associated to the alliance either, but the notion of resources is a not-insignificant factor that plays into the kind of decisions that are being made.

And the idea of "fighting terrorism" is propaganda, as going into Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria et all just made terrorism worse. Just like the idea of Russian aggression is propaganda, as the push towards the East by NATO-affiliated countries is just making that worse. For example, if US diplomats, senators & operatives such as Nuland, McCain & Manafort hadn't been in Ukraine joining the protests, funding various groups, and pushing the pro-Russian party towards the West then the troubles could have perhaps been avoided.
