UCSHIP and financial aid

I just received a grant for UCSHIP, too. It says if your waiver was accepted you cannot use the grant. Also, the waiver is in effect for the academic year.

.. hijacking this thread for a moment, as to not make an identical post: I wish this grant came out before the deadline for waiving. I kind of BS’d my waiver. Hoping it gets denied bc the grant is significant enough to want to keep UCSHIP. Does anyone know if I can call and cancel my waiver before they decided to accept it? Or is it really even worth doing that if I still have family insurance. I just don’t have a primary within 30 miles. (Unethical but broke—I bs’d who my primary doctor was on the waiver, to fit the mileage limit).
