Herb on the other hand, is missing other things that come with the experience of being a fighter. Like knowing what unconsciousness looks like. Knowing what a fighter who no longer wants to fight looks like.

And Christ I didn’t actually mean those people in specific, even if they’d be neutral because of their dedication to the sport. I meant actual practitioners and people actively in the game. Herb dean has always been one of my favorite people in the entire organization, always seemed so soft spoken and humble and chill. But that video was petty and he was straight up uneducated in the things he was saying. I think he must be getting old or something.
