"Ugly ducklings" into "beautiful swans", what happened?

Not surprisingly, most guys said it's their worked out bods. That's disconcerting, because it shows that's the only thing they have offer or thats the only thing they showcase. I guess that's what the majority of the population is attracted to: what they see. I've seen the "hottest" guys at the gym, that other guys follow around and try to get at. However, those "hot guys" were not that attractive, in my opinion. Looks is one thing, personality is another. A nice body doesn't make someone attractive to me. I think like a salesperson, the allure about a guy to me is, the entire package including options. Looks, body, personality and potential. The guys that walk around acting stuck up and full of themselves, I ignore them. On the other hand, the guys that are mature, respectful and have class and integrity. Yes, they get my attention. Two guys in particular were very low-key, unpretentious and not self absorbed. Yes, I noticed and was attracted to them more. They both had nice(er) bodies that most of the other wannabes, but unlike the other nitwits, they would walk in the gym, with no ego, no judgemental attitude. Most of those other douche-bags in the gym, don't have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of. Yet, they are self centered and ASSume that everybody wants them. Um, that's not what real MEN do, they don't strut around being attention whores. I chose my past partners because of their value and what they brought to the table. I don't regret that. I've been seriously involved with some brilliant, unique and passionate guys. One was a wealthy, I knew that way before we got involved, so it wasn't money or looks. Theres always gonna be someone hotter or bigger, taller, nice body, stronger etc. So?
