uGPA vs LSAC GPA

Hi!

My ugrad GPA was a 3.6 and my LSAC GPA was a 3.1 (lol yea a .5 difference.. I was so fucking pissed. Long story short I failed two classes my first semester of college, retook them both later and received As, which my school used to replaced the Fs, but since they were still technically "on my transcript" -but just not calculated into my UGPA- lsac counted both the Fs and the As in the overall LSAC GPA.)

Anyway.

Here to tell ya that I wrote an addendum asking the schools to look at my ugrad transcript and take into account the .5 difference in LSACs GPA and my ugrad GPA, along with taking into consideration the upward trend in grades since my first year. (Literally went from the two Fs and a C, to straight Bs, then my junior/senior year I received straight A's because I changed to a criminal justice major)

I also explained why I got the Fs - obvi was doing shitty in the course, and my school lets you retake ONLY if you received an F. So of course, I failed cause I knew I could do better than settling for a D lol.

It seemed to work for me personally because so far I've gotten in everywhere I've applied with beautiful scholarships! So I think you're fine if you write/wrote an addendum. :)

Good luck!
