Brian Coe
She requested 90 more days for Ryan Ferguson too. She also requested an extended breif, it ended up being 139 pages long.
She is just doing her job. The ins and outs and ups and downs. She is getting ready to bring a shit storm.
She didnt even need to request permission to test everything as previous attorney's covered that base. She already has all she needs, more and more just keeps being revealed.
I used to wonder if she would need to go federal for the exoneration like Ryan.
She has ten times as much evidence to exonerate Steve than she did Ryan.
About five times as many Brady violations, which was the main reason Ryan's conviction was thrown out.
I have no idea how many witnesses have recanted, but I imagine at least Bobby, Scott T, Angela, Dawn and maybe Pam and Joellen Zipperer.
Ryan had two witnesses who recanted. 1 Brady violation. And a lack of forensic evidence connecting him to the crime.
Really, all she has to do is prove one piece of evidence was planted.
Her extension was requested as she wants to be thorough in exposing every last bit of corruption.
Further Steven Avery is not her only case. She sited at least 10 other large cases she is in the middle of reviewing. All of which are either post conviction matter hearings, Appeals, medical malpractice, and of course her Giant 100 million dollar pending civil suit against cook county for their malicious prosecution of Ryan.
I hope it makes you feel better to insult her legal ability and strategy based on absolutely nothing because I bet her and Steve are sleeping very well.
At this point, there have been so many violations uncovered I am expecting him to be out immediately after the first response has been filed by the state in rebuttal to her brief.
Maybe one serious breach would have been overlooked in a regular case. But this case is far from a regular case. The police would have known that the eyes of the state would be watching due to the pending lawsuit and conflict of interest. Yet protocols were thrown out the window?? Why?
Considering the misconduct surrounding the bones, my biggest issue, including but not limited to the lack of measurement, the lack of sketches or photographs documenting the scene and the disrespectful manner in which the remains were recovered, considering that along-side other such breaches of conduct, * it, at the very least, considerably adds to the already insurmountable evidence of malicious prosecution.
Brady. Brady. Brady
