UK refuses to join France, Germany and Netherlands in halting arms sales to Turkey

It probably has to do with people accepting the world for what it is as they get older.

From there they work for only one thing, which is comfort. I guess in a way, people turn inward and focus on themselves, the justification being that they have a life and deserve to be comfortable.

The world is shitty. Especially right now. I'm pretty young and I can say that if I had to provide an opinion of humans as whole, I'd say we are vile, greedy little wretches. The world deserves a restart. People are at the mercy of their leaders - leaders that should be working for their people. But it isn't like that because greed has us by the bollocks. The evil bastards are blinded by their power, convinced their lives are all that 'is'.

But that opinion could change as I get older. I might have to accept that the majority of humanity will always be vile and too lazy to learn how to express things like peace and harmony. I might have to accept that Earth while pretty, is shit thanks to us. We are ruining it for ourselves.

Everyone has has that feeling that they'd like to vanish from society, to a cabin in the woods and have no part of it. I kind of think maybe that's what getting old feels like. You're too old for this shit. Get out of the road so I can get to work. I need money so I can buy new slippers.
