UK tradesmen earn more than university graduates

Average grad pulls in more than a tradesmen. Average male grad in grad level work pulls in much much more than tradesmen.

The article is content targeted at tradesmen to make them feel better. Using a lot of misleading language and stats.

Notice it only claims that some trades have an average salary higher than the average of all grads. Forgetting that most grads are low earning women and many could not break onto grad level work.

Compare tradesmen to their contemporaries. Aka other blokes succeeding in degree level fields. And they lose.

Also teachers are paid notoriously shit for degree workers. But in my area the late career salary is 35k, and let's face it that's still more than most tradesmen make.
