UK YES! - 78 year old man arrested for murder after stabbing an armed burglar in his home

Europeans have zero rights from birth.

All rights are given to them by the state through the law.

It is very similar to the old European system, absolute monarchy or dictatorships.

Every subject belongs to the state. No subject has any rights unless given to them by the state. Every right can be taken by the state. No one but the state has the last word in every action and decision. Every subject is subjugated to the will of the state and has to comply wit every demand of the state.

The primary differences between different European countries today and between them and the absolute monarchies that preceded them are two things: first, who is King and how is the next King selected and second, how much power does the legislature have in relation to the king.

European Constitutions make different mistakes, like being a loose gaggle of acts of parliament with no defining root document and document priority structure (like the UK), focusing primarily on defining rights of the parliament vs the King (Benelux), not knowing what to do with the King (all EU monarchies), not having any meaningful distinction between legislative and executive power (Germany), having unrelated crap like animal rights in them (again Germany) and generally too focused on preventing change ("because fascism is the biggest enemy that's why we the good guys can be as fascist as we want towards those we define fascists and there is actually zero rights we must assign to fascists because we are so democratic")
